On February 2, 2008, we married.

On February 4, we took off for the north island of New Zealand, where we had a wonderful honeymoon

 

Moving across to the west coast, we read about a fishing town called Kawhia, with hot volcanic sands and a wonderful gastro pub.

Accommodation was hard to find, but we came across a wonderful farm stay outside nearby Operau - it was worth the trip! (the pub was not)
